Doctoral Workshop on Business Ethics and Corporate Responsibility

A doctoral workshop on business ethics and corporate responsibility will be arranged on June 16, in Tampere, Finland following the European Business Ethics Network (EBEN) Research Conference 2010.
Aim of the WorkshopThe main objective of the workshop is to provide doctoral students working in the area of business ethics, corporate responsibility (CR) or related subjects, regardless of their major subject, feedback on their doctoral thesis projects. The idea is to help the students to proceed with their work and to enhance the quality of their theses.
ContentsThe workshop consists of submitting an extended abstract for evaluation to the organizers, presenting research in the workshop and participating in different sessions. The workshop has a common opening session and a closing panel discussion. The actual workshop sessions are divided into different tracks depending on the number of presentations.
The workshop is organised from 14–18 at the University of Tampere, and it is
followed by a common evening gathering.
Target GroupDoctoral students doing research within the area of business ethics, CR or related subjects are encouraged to send their proposals to the workshop. The aim is to give a possibility to discuss and get feedback to all doctoral students across business disciplines.
Applying and Important DatesProposals should be sent in pdf format by email to Tiina.Toikka@uta.fi no later than March 31, 2010.
Interested students are encouraged to apply with an extended abstract (1.000 words) indicating research question, methodology, type of data when an empirical study, prospective conclusions and contribution, additionally including name, affiliation, an indication of their current stage in the project accompanied by full mailing and email addresses. Notification of acceptance for presentation will be given by April 16, 2010.

The workshop is arranged by RESPMAN Research Group at University of Tampere in collaboration with School of Business and Economics at University of Jyväskylä. are invited as full papers or alternatively as 2-page abstracts in

2010 by 10 March 2010.
The conference will be preceeded by a Doctoral Workshop on September
